The New York Civic Engagement Table is committed to ensuring that every registered voter in New York State can cast their ballot.

While COVID-19 presented new challenges, we want to ensure that New Yorkers know they can still cast their ballots and stay safe.

Below are resources for you and your communities to ensure New Yorkers have all the information they need to VOTE!

3 WAYS TO VOTE IN NEW YORK

Oct. 28, 2023: Last Day to register to vote in the 2023 General Election.

Absentee

Request an absentee ballot via mail, email, or fax by Oct. 23, or in person by Nov. 6. *

* Postmark your absentee ballot by November 7 and track your ballot to ensure it’s delivered. You can also bring your ballot to an early voting or Election Day polling location.

Early

Early voting runs from Oct. 28 - Nov 5. *

* The times and places to vote early in-person depends on the county where you are registered to vote.

Election Day

Registered Voters can vote at the polls on Tuesday, November 7. *

* New Yorker Voters can vote at the polls between 6 AM - 9 PM. You can cast your ballot if you are in line to vote by 9 PM.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

You can lead your community by encouraging three friends or family members to be voters.
